Who We Are:

Desert Oasis Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue and sanctuary in the El Paso area. We provide care for animals who need rescue, rest, rehabilitation, adoption placement when appropriate or lifetime sanctuary when returning home isn't an option. We believe every animal deserves safety, dignity, and compassion, no matter their past.

Our Focus and Experience:

We specialize in farm animals, with hands on experience caring for chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese, quail, goats, horses, and donkeys. Of course, we also have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals; though farm animals remain our specialty.

Intake Philosophy:

Desert Oasis Rescue and Sanctuary is not an open-intake facility.  We accept animals by planned intake only, allowing us to ensure proper housing, medical care, and long term support for every animal in our care.
